Mike-Alpha Protection Services is a privately owned Security Service provider and is managed by the owners, Mervin and Alvina Kannemeyer. The company is 100% black empowered. Mervin completed his military training in the S.A. Navy before joining the S.A. Police in 1979. Mervin is also the owner of Back to Basics Firearm Training Academy which is Sasseta/PFTC and SAPS accredited. Mervin currently provides firearm training to security companies and officers, members of the Police in their private capacities, private gun owners and potential gun owners.
